Nice big playpark that is one of the main dress for families in the summer alongside the beach. Good showers and toilets etc located adjacent to the park itself and plenty of parking options in the vicinity.

Right on the sea front, but fenced in for kids saftey. The playpark has lots to keep kid happy and safe for hours. Soft grounding adds to less injuries. Toilets and food outlets around in abundance and a beach across the road.

We enjoyed a walk along Ayr beach with our dog while in the area. It’s a good long beach to have fun on, the only downside was all the cafe’s & shops along the beach were closed, I’m assuming this was because it was a...More

Lots of activities for children to use and expend some energy. Great backdrop to take in on the seafront. Well worth a visit especially on a sunny day.

I am not sure as that would depend on how solid the ice cream is and the temperature on the day. What I would say is there is no rule against you enjoying your ice cream as you walk to the park. Relax and go with the flow.
