Went to kill an hour on a nice sunny day. Nice grounds to walk around but as it was off season much of the activitea were closed to the public and many of the gardens were out of season and had workmen all around them. The entrance fee per person was steep for what it is. Did it once and... More

Took three grandchildren on Easter Monday for the Easter Egg Hunt. Had a great time which involved a considerable amount of walking ( not just a wee trek!) We were so spun out we didn't have energy left to visit other attractions but thoroughly enjoyed the day even although it was very busy. Well organised by stewards giving parking directions... More

Very large grounds with castle linked to swan pond with gardens, woodland walks etc.Popular with families, there is a small restaurant near castle but bit on expensive side so take your own. Although castle outstanding there isn't much to see inside. Generally good place to go for a day out when weather good.

Spent an excellent Sunday afternoon at this National Trust for Scotland property which has a wealth of attractions for all the family. The history of the house is fascinating, the grounds are lovely and the location right on the edge of the sea is wonderful. We went on the guided tour which lasts about 45 minutes; our guide Gordon was... More

We arrived on Good Friday for the Cadbury Easter egg hunt around 10am and it was sl busy! The weather was a bit damp but definitely hadn't put people off. The trail was excellent and took you around the whole park. The kids absolutely loved the adventure playground, very large area and lots for them to do. We took our... More

Just back from a brilliant day out. The castle staff are so good and helpful, the hidden lego men are great for kids to find in each room. The magic picture we were shown was great. The stables cafe was lovely and again helpful staff. The newly added part of the adventure cove went down very well with my 8... More

Toured Culzean Castle and grounds as part of a Rabbie's tour group. The castle itself was lovely and a fascinating historical monument. We had to wait a bit for the history film as staff were removing items from the store room behind the cinema, but the restaurant was amazing and the food was fresh and well worth it. The staff... Culzean Castle is our favourite! It has beautiful view, fantastic gardens that easy to walk, cafeteria is very friendly and what my daughter most likes the kids park built from wood and it's massive! Even an adult will have a great experience there, castle itself is in great condition, views from the castle are spectacular! I wish I could go... More

The castle and the surrounding area is beautiful. The castle sits on a cliff above the sea and the view on a sunny day is very nice. The area and the interior of the castle is very well kept and you can spend some hours without a problem. This a must visit if you are in this part of Scotland.... More

Spent a great day at Culzean castle today. So much to do in the grounds of the castle for the whole family. It is so close to the beach, fab area for kids. Interesting history inside the castle. The only disappointment for me is the Cafe. We wanted some lunch before heading into the castle. We had the soup as... More
