Good value golf course, in very good condition, hilly and a long slog in places, buggy recommended. Clubhouse fare... average, non alcoholic cider very expensive at £3.30. if clubs want golfers to stay and eat please do not overcharge , decent alcohol free beers can be purchased from TESCO/ASDA etc. for 0.50 pence a bottle, leaving plenty of scope for... Testing golf course, which is long and punishing, if of the target. When combined with neighbouring Seafield golf course, it makes an ideal choice for a perfect golfing weekend. The quality of the greens and fairways were excellent. As it is a Muncipal golf course, the general up keep of the course desire much improvement as the bins on the... More

Popped in for a quick lunch soon after opening. What a difference!. Lovely bright, airy and spacious area to sit and enjoy some good plain fare. Sandwiches and cooked food such as breakfast are all very good value. The home made soup is excellent! well worth a visit.

This municipal course is very playable and in a great location. Not to expensive and one of the few where you can still turn up and get a tee time. They now have the single type buggies for hire which are a load of fun for the lazy golfer.

Belleisle never lets you down. I have played this course while visiting from Ireland over the past 20 years and have always enjoyed the challenge of the course

Without doubt one of the Best Municipal Golf Courses in Scotland & having played many of the 'Top 100' UK Golf Courses one of my favourites! A MUST play for any golfer it features some truly spectacular holes, no weak score-makers & is in my opinion the Best parkland course in the UK. This is an immaculately manicured course where... Belleisle golf course is regularly rated in the Top 10 of UK's public courses, for good reason - the course is a magnificent example of James Braid's vision. The signature hole is the 6th which offers fantastic views across to the Isle of Arran and the 13th is a really tough par 4 which will ruin many a card.

Nice parkland layout. Lots of 'different' holes. Bunkers are really strategically placed. A must play if in Ayr. When hotel and pro shop are done, this will be absolutely awesome. Go play!

Fantastic parklands course with loads of tests and difficult holes, will be even better when the "hotel" is refurbished. Worth every penny
