We took the ferry from Oban on a gorgeous, sunny and calm day. The captain was kind enough to stop for a wonderful dolphin 'show' on our way to see the puffins. We all mistakenly thought they were penguin size and they are so adorably...More

We were blessed with calm seas and sunny weather so could land safely. The walk along the massive basalt columns on top of erroded ones along to Fingals Cave was an experience extraordinaire! The puffins had already left Staffa but we encountered several at sea....More

Visited this with a 9yr old and a 13yr old and we all LOVED it. The cave is amazing although you are still unable to get into it fully. I was worried about the path over to it, but it is definitely safe enough. it...More

Loved this! I had never seen anything like this! Such amazing rock formations and Fingal's Cave was amazing. We took a Staffa Tours boat there and they did a great job!

This was probably the natural highlight of my group's 9-day tour of the highlands. The geological formation, akin to Giant's Causeway, was breathtaking. My wife hates boats, but she loved it there. We stayed for about 2 hours, and we could have stayed much longer,...More

If nothing else excites you about Staffa, seeing the puffins will be worth every minute and pound spent. The rock formations and waves crashing on the shore are also beautiful. Take your camera and enjoy being out at sea.

We had the extreme pleasure of doing a boat cruise with Staffa Tours to the islands of Staffa and Lunga. At Staffa we were shown Finglas Cave. A stunning naturally formed cave. Made famous by the composer Mendelssohn. Then off the Lunga to see the...More

We did 3.5 hour tour out of Iona. We had good weather and so were able to walk over to Fingal's cave. But the best part was walking to the end of the island with the puffin colony. I could have sat there all day...More

On our visit to Mull we had a trip out to Lunga and Staff with Staff Tours and this was excellent. Beautiful day made for a truly memorable visit. A must, in my opinion despite the short stay (less than an hour).

We took a boat trip from Fionnphort south west Mull using Staffa Tours. The boat was excellent and almost straight away on route we spotted jumping bottle nose dolphins, which the boat drew alongside to so that we could have maximum viewing opportunities. Then on...More

No you couldn’t get in the cave when we went which was a little disappointing particularly for our daughter who had been in previously and was hoping to do so again. But still well worth a visit to the mouth of the cave.
