Sometimes when you are away travelling for a while you get tired of eating chips with everything. We wanted a Sunday roast and our hotel had run out. We were lucky enough to get the last two roasts available at the Woodford. The staff were very good and very friendly and the roast was delicious. The wine list was good... More

Honestly guys. The Woodford is the best pub in Cork. Today I had the beef Guinness stew and Parmesan curry fries and they were out of this world. My friend had fish and hips cooked to perfection. The staff are the friendliest you will meet and Dave and Mert the owners couldn't be more helpful. There's many bars around Cork... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the food, tried the fish of the day, really nicely composed, and the Cesare salad, recommended if you are looking for a lighter meal. Staff was friendly, overall very nice experience.

Unctuous and packed full of flavour. My partner had the fish and chips which was equally delicious. Here's the secret the food is prepared and served by... More

Went the Woodford on the 26th of november for a late lunch , although the food was nice, the portions for the price were tiny , the bare minimum with no sides , eg fries or salad , and also very expensive wine . I,ll be crossing this place off my list of value for money restaurants in cork ,... More

A rare treat on a monday visit. Met dave the barman who looked after us. Great food smell wafting about. Had the toasted cheese sambo, only gorgeous.

Friendly barman. Lovely pint of Franciscan Well's Chieftan IPA. Nice spot to people watch. Good alcohol free mojito! Nice cosy athmosphere with nice lighting and music. Bonus points for NOT having the TV idly on.
