historic building

externally the building has retained all the original features while internally it was completely renovated some 5 years ago,,,,nothing much here to attract visitors

This is a Georgian building, therefore built with Cork was under British rule. It is a formidable limestone building, with many courtrooms, some of which date back to Victorian times, when I understand the building was rebuilt after a fire. One of the courtrooms is the former County Council chamber. The appearance of the courtrooms is old and authentic. One... More

Huge solid building. Fans of architecture and historical buildings will enjoy it. It could photograph well, but it is difficult to get an open angle of it; lots of other tall buildings around it. The interior was renovated in recent years, but only certain parts are open to the public.
