We held our AGM here and it worked very well

We had our AGM here prior to dinner and the staff and management were superb. Dinner as always was top class with great staff both serving and in the bar

book a table in advance, its well worth it. Lovely food and the place is buzzing on a Saturday, once the races were over we headed into town and we couldn't be happier

Greyhound racing is a fast vanishing sport decimated by animal rights activists in the US, the UK and in Ireland. But in Cork it holds a popularity rooted in local tradition. To enjoy the hounds chasing the hare get down to Western Rd. Afterward have a drink or two at the Western Star.

Be careful what you book though.....beer & a burger is exactly that......snug & fingerfood however is not.....no snug just a reserved area & finger food cold & mushy Other than that a fab night by all any time you go there....the crack is mighty

A very enjoyable night out with or without betting on the dogs. Pay at the gate for entrance to the racing, fast food, and bar facilities. Or go for the full 5 star treatment of fine dining and watching the racing from the comfort of your table.

I'm glad that our colleague in Cork took us here. I've enjoyed the race and it is as much fun as horse racing. It got me so excited. I've enjoyed it even though my picked didn't win.

The Greyhound Stadium in Cork City is recently built and is a fine spacious venue with races every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Usually there are ten races on each card, six dogs in each. Great for a bit of fun and betting experience. It is worth to get a meal and racing package for €30. Food is not fantastic so if you meat eater just go for a steak, safest option in those places. Betting is quite fun and it's great fun for couple of hours.
