We had an excellent day trip to Kilkenny. The coach bus was comfortable and picked us up on time. Pat, the guide, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We highly recommend this tour and Collins Day Tours.

The trip was excellent with Tour guide Pat and coach driver Sean. We basically had one day to checkout Ireland and want s to get out of Dublin. Great bit of history and seeing some true Irish culture.

Awesome, well drafted and implemented by the tour operator. Covers all good location. But best part is tour guides and drivers. In my case, it was "PAT" the tour guide and Gareth the driver. Pat was knowledgable about history of Ireland and it's places. I...More

Hello. I am considering this day trip from Dublin. Does Collins Day Tour allow enough time to do these 3 things at the 3 hour Kilkenny stop: eat lunch in a restaurant, take the complimentary walking tour and tour the Kilkenny Castle (I have heard the castle takes over an hour)? If not, are there quick, take-away, lunch options there? Thank you!

There is not enough time to do everything, I went for food in a pub and walked around myself .
Hello, Is there enough time in Kilkenny to visit Smithwick's Brewery? Thanks!

I will be arriving on October 15, 2016. I am booked for a week in Knocktopher Abbey in Co. Kilkenny. I am traveling solo and I have made arrangements for a rental car. Would it be possible to book a day trip private tour from Kilkenny to Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Dingle? What would the cost be? I might be willing to stay overnight and extend the tour to include other West Coast sites.
