One of the best parks in Dublin for dogs. The forest and river really do make a great play area for the furry mutts. Nice little restaurant too for coffee and cake, if a little pricey but all in all, well worth the visit

Huge park, lot's of green and very colorful when the flowers bloom, especially Rose's avenue. There are some play fields, RC car's (and other) track, dog's park, plenty of spaces to run, lay down, have a picnic, etc... Every Saturday, there's a nice market there.

Irish people love to walk so you wlll always find people here. Wall for moss and miles, explore old ruins, climb insanely gnarled tree roots, let the kids explore the woods, let the dogs run around, go to the playground, and finish up your visit...More

Its at the Red Stables, the entrance is on Mount Prospect Avenue. It's called Olive's and does great food and coffee.
