First impressions are always important and based on that we should not have stayed. We went in and had to ask where to sit and we were airily waved to a table in the window. No waiter approached us and when we asked for a menu we were asked in a rude manner if we had seated ourselves, instead of... More

Myself and my family tried to have lunch here recently but were greeted frostily and made to feel distinctly like we would be in the way with my baby, despite the restaurant being almost empty. Not suitable for babies. We felt so unwelcome we left and ate elsewhere in a much friendlier restaurant.

We popped in just wanting a simple lunch during a walk around Dublin. It was busy, usually a good sign. Great service, quick, friendly and and efficient. Very tasty soups and wonderful sandwiches with interesting combinations that work. A bottle of Kilnegar Devil's Backbone and glass of house wine washed it all down very nicely. This was good enough to... More

We were there for a special event upstairs. The service was impeccable, and the food was very good. I'd definitely go back!

5 star review for 5 star bistro! Was there with my friend and her little girl last week and they are brilliant. Amazing scones, great coffee but what really gets them the 5 stars is how friendly they are. Two really nice guys (1 is a mini celeb thanks to date show) and the manger is great. Really child friendly!... More

A lovely spot with comfortable seating, an easy going atmosphere and fabulous menu. Couldn't decide between so many tempting choices which had great descriptions to match. Loved the idea that anchovies would be served with sour dough bread and too much butter! I was about to order one of the very tempting vegetarian main courses but had my head turned... More

Made a pit stop here while doing all of the tourist things in Dublin. Ordered soup and a sandwich and was initially dubious (expensive!) but when it arrived I understood why - huge portions! Food was absolutely delicious and it was an ideal stop in the middle of a busy day. Service was a little slow, but it was incredibly... More

Great location to start your day: the benches are very cozy to sit at and the large windows give a great view on the people passing by. the Irish breakfast was very good: not the traditional, but with a modern twist

I have stopped here several times for coffee and cake mid afternoon. very busy and service was OK on last visit. Service can be indifferent (previous two visits) and the place is usually full of tourists and they don't have to try too hard. Food/coffee quality good.

We stopped by this place for breakfast after a dispiriting wander around Dublin looking for a place which could cater for a gluten intolerant diner. They were wonderfully welcoming, and yes they had gluten free bread. The breakfast was great, full Irish with black pudding and flavoursome sausage served promptly and with really, really good coffee. All so good we... More
