This afternoon we had a walking tour with my kids. It was OK actually .they told us enthousiastedly a lot of history and also issues only locals know. We enjoyed it very much.

If you like animals and nature in general, spend a few hours here. The zoo is part of the European breeding program for animals that are vulnerable and close to extinction so that was nice for me to know. Don't miss the red panda! :)

I have been to a few zoos with the kids over the years and Dublin zoo tops them all. Great space for the animals and a well run zoo. Definitely worth a visit

Visited this zoo on the spur of the moment and enjoyed myself there. They have all sorts of animals and at 17.50 euros for one adult, not bad value. Cheaper than London Zoo. Its in Phoenix Park and is very easy to get to.

Set in the beautiful Phoenix Park, the zoo is full of the usual animals you would expect. There's also educational areas with animal skills and fur. The cafe is OK. It's a bit of a walk from the city centre so I'd recommend the bus....More

Having gone in what is officially 'winter' here in Dublin, a lot of the animals weren't too interested in being out of their enclosures. So some we never got to see. IT was lovely seeing the ones we COULD see however, and we got some...More

We visited the Zoo on a mini break after seeing it on tv in Scotland and it did not disappoint. The animals are clearly well cared for. You get really up close to them and after visiting many Zoos I would say this has the...More

I really liked the lights, it’s amazing. I recommend! There’s an extra show, for free, that happens every hour. I unfortunately could not attend because it was crowded, because I went to the opening.

We wanted to go but wasnt there at the weekend, from walking around in the day it looked very impressive! But its in the dark so you dont see much of the animals.

No, I *think* you might get a slight discount for being a pass holder but you’ll still have to buy a separate ticket for the lights event (which I think is really mean btw!)
