Dublinia is one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions with three exciting exhibitions all located at the historic crossroads of Dublin. There are three exciting exhibitions; Viking Dublin and Medieval Dublin recreate the city through life size reconstructions, including a Viking house and a medieval fair while Death and Disease are also investigated. Finally unearth the city’s past at the new interactive History Hunters exhibition, visit an excavation site, and see medieval bugs under the microscope in the Lab. See Dublin from a new perspective and come away knowing more about its citizens throughout the ages!

Excellent museum with interactive exhibits and lots of figures in historic dress. Very good walk through mock up of a medieval street.

We visited the Dublinia on a Saturday and expected it to be crowded, but that was not the case. The building and exposition was set up in such a way that - even when there are a lot of visitors - it is hardly noticable. There are guides available in multiple languages, making it accessible to tourists. The entire exposition... More

This was very well set out. Lots of interactive parts that would be great for kids. Gave a good insight into how Dublin came into existence and the history of Dublin through the ages.

Very well done museum. Exhibitions geared towards school kids with many mannequins and interactive concepts. We didn't realize the target age was so young but we enjoyed it anyhow.

I enjoyed our visit to Dublinia. I think this museum would be great for families with young to teen aged children. Some of the exhibits can seem a little tired, but the information listed was really quite interesting and helpful for someone with little to no prior knowledge to the settlements and early ages of life in the land we... We spent about two hours here and were engaged the whole time. It was really informative and explained the Viking heritage of Dublin well. Good interaction with a variety of displays and hands on things to do. The staff were good and added to the experience. Value for money.

We were fascinated by the history of the Viking and Medieval history of Ireland and this wonderful hands on museum combines intense and accurate factual information with accurate depictions and great activities for all ages .The archeological displays on the top floor are wonderful. This is great for children of all ages-especially the bathroom explanation with moss-but we were a... More

Lots of great exhibits where you can imagine how the Vikings and other Medieval societies lived. Is definitely more targeted towards children, but there is still a lot for adults to learn

Interactive experience is best thing in museum. Clothes, sculptures and things to touch and learn about past is the best way to learn about history and be part of that.
