Dublinia is one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions with three exciting exhibitions all located at the historic crossroads of Dublin. There are three exciting exhibitions; Viking Dublin and Medieval Dublin recreate the city through life size reconstructions, including a Viking house and a medieval fair while Death and Disease are also investigated. Finally unearth the city’s past at the new interactive History Hunters exhibition, visit an excavation site, and see medieval bugs under the microscope in the Lab. See Dublin from a new perspective and come away knowing more about its citizens throughout the ages!

This was a great interactive museum. There are many replica items on display that the kids can touch and try on; it makes "history" fun and accessible. The stories told of the Vikings and the Medieval inhabitants of Dublin were great. The archaeological area on the third floor shows current finds and it was wonderful. The view from the top... More

This attraction does have a lot of interesting history but the way in which it is laid out and presented made me think that it was more suitable for children. There are lots of things to touch, play with and even some outfits to try on. I did enjoy looking around the different exhibits and learning some new things about... More

I couldn't get past the fact that the entire thing just felt dirty. I could not wait to wash my hands and couldn't imagine putting any of the costumes on. Better ways to deliver history.

Many thanks for taking the time to review Dublinia. This experience was included on our Dublin pass. For the first ten minutes or so, we were not too impressed as the exhibits did not really engage us. The level is pitched at children or those with no knowledge at all about Vikings. However, we were invited to join a presentation by a 'real' Viking and his vivid and enthusiastic... More

A great experience. A lot to see and to do. Paid a bit extra and went over to the Christ Church Cathedral. Was all in all an amazing experience.

The visit was part of our Dublin Pass, that is excellent value. Dublin has an incredible history from the Vikings through present day. Great for the whole family. Presentations were excellent.

We went here as entry was included on the Dublin Pass. The exhibits were interesting and varied and I think it would be ideal if you have children. I thoroghly enjoyed reading about the history of Dublin and there are lots of opportunities to get hands on and try on outfits.

Interactive museums are more and more popular, it's educative for the younger audience and still fun for the rest. Should be appreciated how history and archeology are presented in this accessible matter.
