Loved it. Very impressive. The long hall was especially impressive. All of the old books and ways to preserve them are a great look at history.

On a winter weekday morning, there was no queue, and only a few people inside. Although admission is a little bit pricey (€18 for two students), the exhibit starts with a concise, well-laid introduction to the history of manuscripts in Ireland, as well as a few videos on the production of these manuscripts. That part of the exhibit takes about... More

Well apparently its called The book of Kells not the Book of Khalis. Its an early Christian illuminated book which is funny as its in a room barely lit at all. Informative boards explaining everything. The Long library is stunning and worth the admission fee alone. Set in the wonderful grounds of Trinity College its easy to lose a few... More

Lucky enough to nOt have to wait in line--went later in afternoon on a Thursday. Book of Kelly is remarkable. Very well done with the large colorful bright visual aides. Long Room must be seen. Watch for the harp--can be overlooked by mistake. Observe marble busts--take in whole room.

The book itself and the library are amazingly decorated. Full of history. There should be informative tours however.
