Busáras was designed by Michael Scott and was completed in 1953 and was built in an International Modern style. It was ahead of it's time when it was built, the years have taken their toll even though refurbishment has taken place in recent times. I...More

In the 1940s, Dublin was a poor city, but there was an Architect there with vision - he was Michael Scott who gathered talent artists and architects around him. The building was not finished until the 1950s at which time it has a restaurant and...More

I was shocked at the state of the main train station in Dublin. Dirty and is dire need of an upgrade. No toilets apart from one disabled toilet. I ate a sandwich at Store Coffee...I left the coffee behind me it was so bad. Horrible...More

Busaras is a dirty and dismal place. As Ireland's capital city you would expect Dublins main transport hub to be a bright welcoming place.

Awful experience. I was in a queue for the 5.15 Cavan bus on Saturday evening with lots of older people including my 80 year old mother. All information boards showed that the bus had departed at 5.20 even though there must have been 50 people...More

Although it's improved a lot in recent years Busaras is still a pretty grim place to be. My God though the toilets in the basement are horrendous. It's just not an especially comfortable bus station. There's nowhere near enough seats, there is no nice cafe...More

Busaras is located in the center of Dublin City making it a hotspot for travel throughout the country. This is a relatively small bus station but it offers everything needed for domestic travel.

I hate this bus station. I only go when I have to. The toilets are just revolting, the worst toilets I have ever used. You can't lock any of the doors, and the toilets are rotten. Don't go if you can avoid it.

Used the toilets in the station yesterday before travelling to Belfast and was horrified to find all of them were filthy, doors broken, no toilet paper, tissues soaked in BLOOD and everything else in the toilet bowls. Absolutely disgraceful situation and a severe health hazard...More
