Great photo ops here day and night - much busier during the day as folks use this primarily to cross the Liffey.

Named because it used to cost a Half Penny (Ha'Penny) to walk across. Just a foot fridge, but quaint.

The story of this bridge is very interesting , I suggest you read upon it's history !! No one can come to Dublin and not do a few walks back and forth over it !! I did notice that a couple of the glass panels...More

Love the history of the area and this bridge - one of the many Dublin has and just an architectural beauty! Go and check out the neighborhoods on each side of the bridge.

In the heart of the city, the views from the bridge are superb. Lots of photo opportunities here. Easy too to get a taxie to other parts of the city.

Nice little footbridge to take photos of. Be sure to read the plaques on the buildings at the end to learn the history of the bridge.

Walk over the bridge and be glad you don't have to pay half penny to do it. The river is a good point of reference for the city. Lots of bridges all worth walking. Need good shoes
