Went to the comedy evening on a Tuesday night. Not sure if this happens every Tuesday but it was a ' new material evening' to say the least it was terrible. One of the comedians did not get even one laugh. .. I hope other nights are better.

Good little spot - upstairs in the pub and about the size of my living room. Expect to be picked on but that makes it all the more interesting. Quality of host and comedien(ne)s very good. Take your drinks with you.

This was the best night of our stay in Dublin and I recommend it 100% to anyone! I had searched for comedy nights before we went to Dublin and come across the International Bar which house various different comedy nights throughout the week. It is not really advertised widely to tourists, I suspect because it is only a small, intimate... More

Bottom floor looked like someones home. Second floor like an abandoned home and the comedy room like a crack den. But thanks to the friendly athmosphere, funny and kind bartenders and guests, and, of course, the hilarious comedians this quickly became my home away from home!

My sister and I went out to have a few drinks and stumbled upon the Comedy Cellar. It was an unexpected surprise that became our favorite night there! The comedians really did an awesome job connecting with the crowd and just made it a personal/hilarious experience! I will for sure go here every time I visit Dublin!

I visited The Comedy Cellar on a Thursday evening and I have to say my expectations were completely wiped away! It was way better than I would have thought. The crowd was in a really good mood and the host who spoke between the acts was up for some really good jokes! I would recommend it to everybody looking for... More

This was a great way to spend the night! Comedy runs every night and the doors open at 9pm. No need to worry about getting there ahead of time because the door to the upstairs is locked until 9 anyways. Nice little bar upstairs to sit and have a pint during the show with a intermission in the middle. Highly... More

Really great place to see upcoming comedians or big names. The cellar is relatively small so it has a nice laid back atmosphere, the comedians are all very funny and the MC tends to get the crowd in a good mood before the acts start. Pretty much every big Irish comedian started out at the cellar, so if you want... More
