One of the best bars in Dublin

Definitely one of the best bars in Dublin. Great atmosphere. Can get a bit overcrowded at times but it's still a great pub.

Cannot compliment this venue enough, Disabled friendly and could not do enough for us. The best spot in Temple Bar!

Up on the third floor is the restaurant - on your way up you pass two bars with live music and lots of people having fun. It was St Patty's weekend so I don't know if the bands play all day everyday, but they were playing when we were there for lunch about 1400. The menu isn't large, but the... More

Saturday night March 11...the beginning of St. Pat's celebration...pub was packed, very overcrowded. Obviously no fire marshals in Dublin. We were here 5 years ago & it was just crowded...able to order pub food. Not tonight...all drinking. Fortunately they have a second & third floor. Made it up to floor 3 & had a good dinner but no SMITHWICKS...what's up with... More

This is your typical Irish Pub in the middle of Temple Bar. Great food and drink plus live music all day every day. It is great craic. The prices are reasonable and the service is first class. If you are looking for somewhere typically Irish - this is the place.

Spent the whole of St. Paddy's day here because it was so good. Live music was great. Staff really efficient and quite friendly. Recommend, but beware drinks in Dublin are pricey!

This was the bar we chose as our main bar during a stag weekend and it was a lot of fun on a Saturday night. I don't know what it is like arriving as a big group as, purely by chance, we arrived in small groups at separate times but nothing at all was said about a group of 20... More

We were advised that if i wanted to sit un and play a few tunes, while in Dublin, that we should visit, Gogarty's. they were right! I got to sit in with two excellent musicians and singers, Eddie & Colm. The food was real Irish as well. Go there now!

This is a must every visit expensive night out but worth it. Be careful on your foot wear as Guinness goes everywhere when dancing. Live Irish music what more could you ask for

Fiddles, guitars, accordions, whistles, oysters, beer, whiskey, good service and dancing on the bar. All available here. There is a downside, a Double Jameson's and a pint of Guinness cost me 20.5 Euros on the Saturday night. I gave him 21 and said keep the change, seemed miserly not to. Ouch.
