The pub, the poet and the pint. In Dublin, they seem to be inseparable. The public house is where writers sharpened their wit. This two hour walking tour is led by a team of professional actors who follow in the footsteps of James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, Brendan Behan and many others. You will hear renditions of prose, verse, drama and song from Dublin's literary hall of fame. The evening is packed with entertainment and also includes a quiz with prizes for the winners. As one critic wrote: 'A highly enjoyable evening that gives you the pleasant notion of replacing brain cells as you drown them'. Check our website for further details and to book online.

Me and my friend decided to do the literary pub crawl rather wondering aimlessly around Dublin not really knowing where to go. We were so glad we did as it was funny, informative and entertaining. The actors were great!

Great time learning more about Dublin's famous authors and enjoying the pubs! Was a good way to meet other travelers.

I probably wouldn't describe this as a pub crawl as that conjures up images of rowdy drinking games. There are pubs, and there is a quiz but this is a far more inclusive and less boozy experience than 'pub crawl' would suggest to me! The...More

I found Dublin to be a pretty multicultural city but this tour is 100% Irish craic. Even if you know nothing about Irish literature or history, you will have a great time! The actors are hilarious, you cover a decent loop of the busy part...More

Thank you for the review. I am delighted you got in. Sunday is often a busy night as the theatres are 'dark'. So booking guarantees a seat. COLM

My son, sister-in-law and I really enjoyed this evening. The guides/actors put on great shows and had a lot of very interesting background information about the authors they portrayed, their works that they performed, and the history of Dublin as well. Like so many Dubliners...More

Kind of bumped into this by accident and it ended up being one of my favorite things in Dublin. The actors who lead you around the different pubs, talking and acting out popular literary works by noted Irish authors, were an absolute hoot! They played...More

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle! The actors were fun, witty and brilliant. Don't be afraid of the drinking. We only had what we wanted. We enjoyed our group too--there was time in between "acts" to socialize.
