I've had a dinner here with some friends (we were almost 20, so I can dare to say that this is a restaurant suitable for groups because they have a room upstairs in which that can host groups too.. obviously we had previously reserved the table!) I really loved the traditional cottage pie and the beef Guinness pie. Obviously the... More

expensive, rude staff at the restaurant and poor quality food : my rice with the vegetable curry was completely over cooked and tasteless and the chips were nothing to compare with the typical hand cut irish. my dad asked for an additional slice of bread since they brought him only a half and they charged 2€. stay away

A great bar in the heart of Dublin. Served a great pint of Guinness (several actually as one is never enough) Wife had a speciality coffee with Irish whisky. It looks very oldy worldy and has a cafe attached. We didnt eat but the food being served looked good.

Great pub just round the corner from our hotel Stephens Green Travelodge. Turned into our local and go to pub all weekend. Food looked great too.

The food here is great and the staff is super friendly. I have tried the bangers and mash and the Irish stew. Both were hearty and delicious. They have kids size/priced plates as well for the little ones (although they weren't much smaller than the regular serving). They serve a great pint - whether it be Guinness, Smithwicks or cider.

We got the recommendation from our hotel. So happy we tried it out. It's a small quirky place but the atmosphere is great. Pints cold and food delicious. Shepard Pie and Cottage Pie was traditional and great. Give them a try!

A friend of a friend was having her 21st here and a group of us headed over. The pub is lovely with an old-time feel to it while upstairs is bright and spacious with room to dance but also great to sit and have a chat. The prices of drinks was reasonable and the staff were friendly. The place was... More
