This play which has been done from Maeve Binchys book is simply hilarious. The actors are very slick jumping from one character to another and are soooooooo witty. However, the seating in this Theatre leave a lot to be desired bearing in mind my seats...More

Gaiety Theatre is one of Dublin's most historic theatres. Conveniently located beside Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. It is extremely popular for pantos during the christmas season. Where you are more likely to see grandparents rather than parents with the children.

The gaiety itself is an iconic building and beautiful to visit. It is a Victorian era Theater. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the play "The Chastitute" it was a bit stage Irish. The acting, sets and costumes were good. We look forward to returning to...More

Went to Riverdance here and it was excellent. It was about a year ago at this stage. Seats on the ground floor section were good, not sure about the others as I didn't sit there before.

Need decent but not too expensive b&b within walking distance of Gaiety theatre. Taking elderly mother to a show there, just one night in Dublin. Pls advise.

I can't help very much with this question. We stayed at The Gresham in O'Connell Street, it was very central with the hop on hop off buses right outside the door! We booked before we left home. Enjoy Dublin.

Would it be inappropriate to take my 18 month old? We are visiting and won't have a sitter.

I think my reply comes late but in case it's not I think it depends on the show not on the location. It would probably be inappropriate for a Schubert concert but ok for Irish dance.
We would like to book this tonight but can't find the link here. hopefully we can just buy the tickets there for 2 adults and 2 kids...

Just saw your question and it was posted 11 hours ago. Can't send the url here and it is cheaper at theater itself rather than at ticketmaster
