As per the title it's a pleasant walk with a nice view at the end. Obviously depends on the weather but on a nice spring or summer day it's lovely . Takes anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes to do depending on your energy levels and if you are running, strolling or 'power walking'.

The area around the harbour is where I spent some time recently. Top of the to do list is the East Pier walk. If the weather permits this is a must. Great walk with lots of walkers on a half decent day, weekends have water activities with different classes of boats/yachts on the water to look at. Fish and chip stall... More

Great place to stroll, shame a few elements like the old sea water lido have seriously decayed, but views of sailing an Dublin harbour are a great reward for the walk. Plenty of parking in February- and innovative things like a cyclist ban after 13.00 make it safer for all ages in the family. The highlight was a scrumdidliumptious Teddy's... More

First sunny day of spring. Prom was thronged - great relaxed atmosphere and option to buy fish & chips, and coffee and ice cream. Great place for a Sunday afternoon stroll when weather is fine.

Went for a lovely walk along the pier which was crowded but enjoyable. It was a gorgeous, sunny afternoon and although chilly the walk was good. The water was so blue it was a delight to see. Watching the Trinity College sailing team on the water was fun. There are places for snacks and drinks and even the first weekend... More

Get the DART out to Dun Laoghaire. A very pleasant place to spend a few hours walking and watching the yachts and peoplewatching. Drop into the Royal Marine Hotel for a coffee - thankfully it hasn't changed much since Victorian Times. Walk along the seafront towards Sandycove and buy an ice cream in Teddy's. There is paid parking everywhere with... More

Just your average harbour. There used to be a boat that came in from Wales twice daily but it was cancelled. Vutting off a lot of tourism for the town.
