I have booked and paid online a ticket with 1 week before the travel date. On the date , at 3.00 am i found that the bus is cancelled . My lucky was because was another company for the route after 30 min. The travel must be from Belfast to Dublin airport for a fly. Can you imagine i could... More

There are excellent drivers of the Expressway bus service, transporting happy tourists and locals all over the place, who are helpful, cheery and courteous. The problem is that so far I haven't met very many. Alighting passengers are left to rummage through the baggage hold, enquiring passengers are answered with an unintelligible grunt, no thank you, no goodbye, no job.... More

Rude driver. 4 hour milk route to Galway. Driver blasted bad music the whole way. Will take Citylink from now on.

I've travelled with Bus Eireann since 2005, and each time I've boarded one of their services to Carrick-on-Shannon or Cavan, I've always had a pleasant journey. If you're not sure where to get off at your destination just ask the Driver and he'll be happy too help (they've always assisted me whenever i've needed it). I look forward to using... More

I travel from Dublin airport to the southeast of Ireland every month or two, mostly using Bus Eireann. In my experience, the buses are nearly always on time and the WiFi works well. Some of the newer buses have electrical sockets (handy for recharging devices). The bus drivers are hit and miss - but some are friendly and helpful. Overall... More

Our driver C. was always in perfect control of his coach, and made his very best to make this an unforgettable ride. Bored to death, with a slight Droopy attitude, nothing on the road will ever surprise him, except for those damn tourists and cyclists. Every word that comes through the mouth of a tourist asking for a ticket or... More

I have ridden many buses in many different areas. All have their fair share of good and bad things. However, Bus Eireann is a nightmare that is mostly bad things shrouded with "you're grand". We have lived in Ireland for a year and don't own a car, so our primary transportation has been Bus Eireann in Cork. We have been... More

It seems the 7 day pass only allows you to travel 3 days. You can purchase another day but it seems not on the bus. Have to go to the window. You cannot go to window on Sundays! Make sure the driver enters the correct date! We had a driver enter the wrong date on one day and we could... More
