We just had one drink here as we'd never visited before but we weren't tempted to stay as it was quite bright and not as cosy as some of the other pubs on the street.

Somewhat drab, but full of local personalities and flavor. A non-descript joint where you can always find good conversation and a good pint.

This is what I like to call an "old man pub" but it's great. Interesting booths and heaps of different beers and ciders to try. Staff and locals are really friendly inside as well :)

A lovely spot for a quiet mid-afternoon pint, a safe haven away from the bustle of the streets outside, very friendly staff and a great pint of Beamish.
