We had a pleasant walk on the Prom to settle our lunch. It was a pleasant lace to meander and watch people.

All 17 in our group walked from Galway City to Salthill. It was a beautiful sunny day and a gorgeous view of the sea. Well worth the time.

Staying in Galway, went off walking to Salthill. A beautiful walk on paved sidewalk with gorgeous views of the water. Lots of shops, restaurants and takeaways. Would be a great spot to stay for a few nights

There are amusement areas some by the sea but not on the prom, there was a little road train that took families around the seafront.
