A gorgeous sight to behold. People were in swimming and splashing around and it was cold while we were there, a norm for the people of Ireland.

We actually stayed at Salthill and loved walking along the sea front looking out across the bay. Beautiful scenery and sunsets.

We found ourselves by the bay every day of our visit. There were lots of people sitting on the grass enjoying the sun and breeze.

Despite it being a rainy day, we enjoyed our walk around Galway Bay (and Galway in general). The town and its seafront areas are almost like movie sets for an old seafaring movie. If you are thinking fishing town, Galway is the perfect example.

Stopped along the bay for photos. Street parking available. Lots of good spots for photos. Would visit again.
