A gorgeous sight to behold. People were in swimming and splashing around and it was cold while we were there, a norm for the people of Ireland.

We actually stayed at Salthill and loved walking along the sea front looking out across the bay. Beautiful scenery and sunsets.
If you need a break from the hustle and bustle, head on down to Galway Bay. Plenty of room to run and walk along the water. And there are tons of people to people watch (the best thing ever). Slainte
We found ourselves by the bay every day of our visit. There were lots of people sitting on the grass enjoying the sun and breeze.
Despite it being a rainy day, we enjoyed our walk around Galway Bay (and Galway in general). The town and its seafront areas are almost like movie sets for an old seafaring movie. If you are thinking fishing town, Galway is the perfect example.
