This one of must Ireland's destinations. Nice picturesque places, dramatic scenery but too touristic with a lot of touristic buses.

Whether you are driving or take a tour this is a must see. This is a route that runs along the south and southeast coast of Ireland. We discovered a variety of places along the route and would just pull over and explore. The water...More

If you are driving this trip is a "1" or a "5." If you go counterclockwise it's a "5" whereas clockwise is a "1." The reason: TOUR BUSSES! The seemingly hundreds of them all go counterclockwise so if you are going clockwise be prepared to...More

This was a great drive on our tour bus. It is often very windy but runs through some beautiful country. You will see water, mountains, and ancient buildings. Many great observation points and quaint little towns.

I love this place. Stop for the sheep herding demonstration, it's totally amazing and the number one tourist attraction on this peninsula. You will see such natural beauty and the color green like never before. The trip is a bit long but there is no...More

We drove the Ring of Kerry and followed Rick Steves' guidance to the T. If you are driving this on your own, I highly recommend getting his book and following his guidance. He said we wouldn't see a single tour bus, and we didn't (though...More

Much to see on a nice day. Lots of variety. Small villages, churches, forts, abbeys, ruins. If you see and do everything, plan on a very long day. Get an early start, stay patient and enjoy the trip. Kerry Ring driving was very manageable, in...More

Amazing views. Spectacular adventure. Went on a partly sunny day that turned into a windy, but mostly sunny day. Great vistas. Go earlu, miss traffic and if you can, not on a Saturday. We had lots of campers/RVs. The prettiest beach had a large campground...More

Hi, which is the best and dependable tour operator for Ring of Kerry. We are on a budget and don't have a car. Thanks

No I don't really think you could do both in one day. Just concentrate on one. The road is quite narrow and at some times of the year it could be quite busy and slow with cars and coaches.
