We drove to the muckross house even though it was closed due to the hurricane. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! I would definitely return again!

The interior is furnished with furniture and decorative accessories of the period, perfectly done. The tour was just long enough without being tooooooooooo long. However,...More

Recently visited the House and Gardens. Got the House tour which was really interesting. Great to learn about the history of the House and estate. What a fabulous setting.

The tour of the Muckross House was very informative but kind of boring. If you miss the house tour don’t be too upset but there are a lot of other great things to see. Plus it’s not a very long walk to the Torc Waterfall.

The house is beautiful, seen only by guided tour. It was a rainy day, but we still went through much of the gardens. They were lovely, probably so much nicer in good weather.

The property is quite nice and the mandatory guided tour is a plus. Lots of history and if you are a fan of Downton Abbey then you will surely enjoy this
