We broke away from our tour and did this destination. It was really good. We liked the walk from the waterfalls to the house and gardens itself. It was all so green and beautiful. Loved Ireland and the people. all so helpful and friendly. The food on the location was surprisingly good too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Muckross House! Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and kept us engaged throughout the entire tour. It was also somewhat of a hostory lesson. The house is beautiful and some of the furniture and accessories are magnificent! We also went downstairs where they were making yarn from the wool and purchased several beautiful items,... More

We had a great time at muckross. The gardens are lovely and the house was fab. The best part of our trip was the farm. We walked round although you can hop on the little bus that drives round. The walk is about 1 1/2. The beautiful little farm houses and farms were delightful. If you enjoy history then this... More

We didn't do the tour but just walked around the gardens and the lawn by the lake. It was very pretty - and free to do- but also extremely busy. There were many busses and just a lot of people walking around. Very pretty spot!

The guided tour lasts about an hour. You need to check in to get a time slot. There were about 25 people on the tour which took you from room to room throughout the house. The guide did a good job and describing the history of the home which was interesting. Queen Elizabeth stayed here! The home features some original... More

Had a wonderful tour of Muckross House and wish I had more time to hang out in their gardens. Absolutely gorgeous.

We did the guided tour of the house. It was very informative and enjoyable. The gardens are amazing. This was one of our favorite activities we've done in Ireland! Highly recommend this stop!

We took a horseback ride and a hike as well as a walk around the beautiful estate. I would have loved to take a look inside; maybe next time!

Lots of fun. The staff does an excellent job of telling the history. Feedback: we would enjoy the tour even more if there was an opportunity along the way or once at the end for Q&A. The house itself is well preserved and interesting. Definitely stop to see!
