Big garden in front of the House, a lot of green grass and flowers but nothing special. House was closed, so we weren't inside but it is not big. It is a part of Killarney National Park

These gardens are in a beautiful setting of tranquility and peace right in the middle of a bustling tourist town. There are walks that suit young and old alike and if you want a longer more vigourous trek, you can continue into the Ntaional Park that ajoins Killarney House. Killarney House itself has been renovated to its original glory. Plenty... More

We have a dog and wanted to go for a walk so decided to take the path here. It was raining but it was still a lovely and peaceful walk.

During the good weather recently on a Sunday we went in the Killarney House Gardens. On first entry we were greeted with a list of things we were not allowed to do one of which walking on the grass, as it was a good day the plan was to get a take away sandwich and relax in the open space... More

Spectacularly beautiful views- a great place to sit and enjoy the peace or walk along the many paths. The rhododendrums were in full bloom and magnificent. Unforgettable!

Later, the Bourn Vincent family continued this gardening tradition. They purchased the estate from Lord and Lady Ardilaun early in the twentieth century. Around this time the Sunken Garden, Rock Garden and the Stream Garden were... More

This is gem which is under renewal at present, it will be great to see investment here as it touches upon the town itself. This is diffrrent to Muckross house. People often confuse them.

We visited this park on our recent visit. It was a beautiful Sunday in the middle of about 7 days of rain. Everything was looking its best and because of the rain for the previous 5 days there was a huge croud in the park taking advantage of the beautiful day. We had a very pleasent walk around the outer... More

Great place for a stroll! Check out dundag beach just to the side of the old boathouse. The tour around the house itself is a lovely tour.
