A must stop, overlooking the lake and valley. The views are absolutely amazing! Expect tourists though.

Great photo op on the Ring of Kerry was Ladies View, our 3rd stop. Parking was a breeze and we walked out onto some rocks to see the beautiful views and take some pictures. I enjoyed sitting on a rock, looking out over the vast...More
We went around the Ring of Kerry clockwise, so we would be going to opposite direction from all the huge tourist busses. That makes Ladie's view one of the first stops. The name is derived from the admiration of the view by Queen Victoria's ladies...More
The mountain road up to Ladies' View was spectacular and the View from the Top was striking. The restaurant and gift shop were good finds.

Unfortunately it was drizzling the day we saw this but the view stretched out before you must be breathtaking on a sunny day.
Having walked around middle lake down at Muckross House, we headed up to Ladies View. Awesome! Weather not especially good, but still stunning. Beware the endless coaches doing the Kerry Ring - they all go anti-clockwise! Killarney is nice town to visit!
Ladies View is more appreciated when the backstory is told. Our tour guide had a wonderful way of getting the tourists excited about a stop or view. Once you hear the story you can visualize the situation at the time.
