There was a lot of fog and rain when we visited, but it was still rather spectacular. I can only imagine what it must have been like when it was named.

Certainly Queen Victoria's 'Ladies in Waiting' chose a lovely picnic spot which is one of many picturesque places in Ireland. It has been said to be the best view in Ireland however I cannot agree with that statement.

A very popular place to stop but only because it is such a beautiful view of the lakes. This should not deter you from sharing other peoples appreciation of such a gorgeous view.

It was good for first visit. For photographic opportunities, Cliff of Meher is a better place and provide more interesting shots.
