A really lovely Castle right on the edge of a lake. Lots of boating activities, wildlife and nice walks for a great family day out.

What a view! Overlooking Lough Leane, this castle is impressing indeed. There are swans to ooh and ahh over, as well as a boat tour offered. (We did not take the tour as we did not have the time.)

I love this castle and couldn't wait to bring my partner and kids here. They were not disappointed. The tour guide was excellent and the views breath taking as usual. Lovely bit of history.

Definitely worth the walk! Lovely castle siting on Lough Leane inside Killarney National Park. You can explore some of the castle and take lovely walks inside the park. It was wonderful seeing the stag. It is such a lovely National Park.

I did a great walk to get there and I was great! You must go if you were around the area. We took a horse and cart to get there.
