Tucked in the woods was our 2nd stop on the Ring of Kerry, Torc Waterfall was wonderful. Despite the decent amount of people stopping to take pictures, there was plenty of room to get good pics and it was quite serene and peaceful. Parking was...More

Along my drive of The Ring of Kerry, I stopped at the Torc Waterfall. Form the parking lot, the hike to the main waterfall required just a few minutes time and was not terribly strenuous. For nature lovers, the trail and the waterfall were well...More

It was only 200 meters up but it felt like a million. It was beautiful however. Very peaceful even with all the other tourists.

A lady in limerick told us about this, well worth seeing. A few kilometres from Killarney. It's not huge but pretty and you can walk under a little bridge to the side of the lake the other side of the road.

We did a bit of a hike to get here but there's also parking right near by. It is a gorgeous waterfall, so loud and powerful. We sat and watched for quite some time!

Roaring, beautiful waterfall just outside Killarney town on Muckross road. Free parking for about a 30 visit. Falls are just a 5 min walk from the parking lot. No need to climb the steep stairs up further. That is just a view and not part...More

There is a small parking lot, but once parked it is an easy, short hike (5-10 minutes) to the falls. Great photo ops and fairly easy, although sloped and wet, terrain.

Real nice waterfall and stream area. Very wooded and easy access after a very short slightly uphill walk. When we went it was raining a bit so the water was gushing quite well. Great photo opportunity. Be aware parking is tight here.

There are a number of loop walks you can do. 1hr, 2hrs or 4hrs , all are manageable and take you in different directions. You can drive to the carpark above the falls and start from there.

It's kinda on the other side of Killarney. Like the cathedral is in town and then Torc Waterfall is out past Muckross House in the park. Not terribly far though.
