I went on a walk from Killarney Town out to Muckross. The House is closed at the moment and there is work going on there, loads of scaffolding up around it. I decided to try and find the Torc Waterfall on this walk and was glad that I did. It was lovely to see it. If you follow the signs... More

This is a beautiful walk and an enjoyable climb to the waterfall top. We hired bikes in Killarney and cycled out to here. Very enjoyable

First time calling even though I meant to for years. I was surprised how short a walk it was from the car park to the falls. About 5 mins that you can do in shoes. The only thing to watch out for car park is quite small. Even for the winter getting a parking spot was hard

The walk to the waterfall from the car park will take your breath away.. It is stunning with exceptionally tall trees that grow to the sky. It was a fantastic walk.. Probably less than a KM .. I guess it was around 600 metres. An easy walk. The entry is free and the car park is free but can be... More

Torc falls is in a nice setting accessible from the road or an easy half an hour walk or short jaunting car ride (horse and carriage)from Muckross House. There are some nice looking moss covered trees leading up to the falls. The falls themselves are pretty average, not spectacular.

We travelled on a cold winter morning to Torc. Minus three degrees, still so worth it! An easy 200m walk to the falls from the car park. And there's a further walk up the steps. Absolutely stunning scenery. Tranquility plus. Absolutely enchanting.

Not a very steep walk and well worth the effort. Because the weather has been so dry the fall was not as spectacular as I previously have seen it, but still well worth the walk up.

It is a beautiful place to go see but the steps are tough we went as a family day out going down was fine but it is a tough walk back.

Our family went for a quick hike here. Our party included my 80-year-old grandmother and my 11-year-old sister, so this hike is good for both young and old. It's a short quarter mile walk from the road to the waterfall. The waterfall doesn't disappoint--very beautiful! From the waterfall, you can continue up a mountainous trail. Sadly, we didn't have the... More

We stopped at this waterfall with initial plan to have a look at it, because our parents who served as our guides remembered it as a beautiful one from their previous travels couple of years ago. They were absolutely right, so right that we could not resist to go at least some distance along one of the three walking trails... More
