Very interesting. Really gives a sense of life in a medieval town, along with the Medieval Mile Muserum.

Butter slip is a very useful access way between the two main streets along the medieval mile. There is a bit of entertaining history that a walking tour will inform you of. Look out for the restaurant named after the famed witches' maid!

The butter slip is one of several small passages off the main streets in Kilkenny. This one has several shops and links the two main, parallel streets. A pleasant, unremarkable walk through.

The Butter Slip was built in early 17th century and peppered with the stalls of butter vendors on market day. The Medieval passageway leads from High street down to St Kieran street. The path has an arched entry with stone steps. So charming & picturesque.

Not sure why this warrants a review. It's a small pathway between streets. It's cute-my kids thought it should be somewhere in Hogwarts.

The Butter Slip area let you think you had gone back in time. The medieval area is really neat to tour. We all had a great time in this hidden area.
