This pottery studio is well worth a visit if you are staying in Kilkenny or nearby. It is in a beautiful location on the river bank. They offer great viewing stations of the potters at work and there is a fantastic selection of seconds available to buy. We also enjoyed a lovely quiche and cake in there cafe

The pottery is in a former flour mill on the river south of Kilkenny. You can watch the pottery being made and decorated. There is also a cafe where you can get tea, coffee, baked goods and light lunches. The pottery is traditional Irish sponge ware. While the throwing of the pots and finishing with brush strokes is highly skilled... More

charming quaint and rather pricey -- but fun to look around. The staff was very welcoming and anxious to help in any way--to ship back to the states--can't handle the heaviness of the purchases on the plane-- I bought a few pieces--just will wait for delivery soon

A must do trip while visiting Kilkenny! A meandering drive through a scenic route will lead you here! Beautiful pottery, made on site, ability to view the crafters at work! The second floor contains exactly that! Seconds! Discounted with slight imperfections not always visible to the eye! The cafe is a hidden gem with some of the tastiest food around!... More

Beautiful pottery. The designs are colourful, varied and there are all sizes and shapes of plates, bowls, dishes, lamps on offer. It is expensive...even for seconds but it is a unique product. You can watch the potters at work and then you can see why the pottery is expensive. It is very labour intensive. If you want a gift for... More

Brought my elderly mother here for a cup of coffee. The cafe is small but very pleasant. Access is by lift so suitable for people with mobility problems. The staff are also very helpful and will carry items to your table in this self service cafe. We just had coffee and pastries but the salads & quiches looked good. I... More

Called to view the pottery as this was raved about by some locals. Lovely artwork and design on the pottery but as it is locally made and designed, this carries a hefty price tag. There is a 'seconds' section which we thought would be cheaper than the quality pottery but there wasn't much difference in price. If your looking for... More

We read on an Irish travel guide that they did pottery with kids but when we went they said they stopped this 6 ish years ago. My daughter was upset about this. I put a status on their Facebook page and Nick Mosse got in touch to arrange for us to come in to decorate some mugs for my daughter.... More
