We visited the university with a group of students from Argentine who were attending couses on Irish Culture for two weeks. They have been very comfortable in the classrooms, the canteen and excellently treated by teachers and the university staff.

I went there with my 2 teenage daughters. It was a nice sunny day, when you drive up the avenue into UL you begin to get a sense of how vast the campus is. Nice handy restaurants dotted around and a oylimpic size swimming pool which is open to the public for a nominal fee. Easy to walk around. You... More

Studied here in the fall and absolutely loved it. The campus is very open and the surrounding area has some amazing trails and castle ruins. The living bridge at night makes for some nicer walks back from campus.

Well worth a visit with art on view as well as nice fountains and sculptures. Great cafe/bars well frequented by the students of course. Must be fantastic in summer.

The University of Limerick campus is one of the most beautiful in the world with the a parkland setting and the River Shannon flowing through the centre. Gorgeous walks, superb sporting facilities and a Concert Hall there is plenty to keep you occupied during your visit.

The grounds are so impressive. So well kept, so clean, so attractive. It's an absolute pleasure to walk the vast grounds. So many different walking route choices too which is great. There's always people around and activities going on so walks feel very safe. An enjoyable way to pass an hour in Limerick.

The University campus is about a 10-minute drive from the center of town or about 15 minutes is coming from the norht side of the river. This was Saturday morning and visitor parking was free. We walked around the campus along sidewalks and trails. Pleasant-looking buildings are integrated into the green areas.

Ideal for a lovely walk beside the Shannon river. Then you will see many different birds and enjoy their songs. Feel hungry? Then have a lunch at the Pavilion. Yummy. So refreshing
