Not open to the public but a must see. An impressive building on the edge of the town. Now closed to traffic it's safe to take a photo.

Dogheda is a beautiful city for a walking tour and the St Laurence Gate is a must stop. An impressive piece of history preserved in the middle of the modern city. A great photo stop

This is an interesting large medieval gate into Drogheda. It is fairly central and really very difficult to miss. Worth photographing.

I am glad the council has closed this to through traffic as it is worth seeing and preserving. The area around it is also interesting

We made this a quick stop as this is worth seeing but it is not in the best location, We had to park several blocks away and walk and as this was in the evening, we felt a little unsafe. Not the best of neiborhoods.
