The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, has been providing an arts service to the people of Mayo for the last 20 years. Housed in one of the oldest existing linen halls in Ireland in the heart of Castlebar town, is home to a gorgeous intimate performance space, a visual art gallery, coffee shop, and an art workshop space. The Linenhall programmes local, national and international arts events and activities; supports those working in the arts who live in the region and provides opportunities for all in the community to participate in making art.

This is a great venue. Roola Boola the childrens festival takes place this weekend and its great to have a community venue in centre of town. Saw a great Seamus O Rourke play here last month.

The Linenhall Arts Centre provides a multitude of events for every one. The auditorium is lovely and comfortable. The events are reasonably priced and always enjoyable.

A well appointed if what small auditorium, good cafeteria and meeting area ,But this venue could well do with better quality acts and entertainment. Lately, the acts and shows have become parochial.More

The Linenhall Arts Centre is a small centre in the center of Castlebar, the staff are very very dedicated and they themselves have an interest in Arts and thats the secret to their success.
