All the usual books, video, audio, computer access, etc, but the jewel in the crown is the local history dept, with local newspapers on microfilm going back to 1800's. Booking essential for microfilm

Great library service provided conveniently at the Mall in Castlebar. Store telling takes place in seperate childrens libary. Very spacious computer room which currently offers computer tutoring for those over the age of 55 through Age Action. The staff can't do enough to help.
