Great Visit

A very friendly and informative place to visit. The whiskey tasting was nice. I wouldn't budget more than about an hour or so to spend there, but it was enjoyable.

We were needing something to fill a bit of time en route on a journey between two hotels and found this online. Would be easy to drive past and not know it's there. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tour starts with a short film and then you are taken along the journey from grain to whiskey and the different types... More

I visited in March and did a tour with a delightful guide called Maeve. She educated us about the distilling process and all about Tullamore dew. We even got to enjoy a tasting at the end. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable and certainly added to our experience. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch in the stunning restaurant afterwards.... More

The visitor centre is in the middle of the town. It’s not at the active distillery. You can see in a tour the distil process but not in the actual stills or tons. It’s a good tour bud I had hoped that is was in the distillery itself. We had the tour around lunch time and there was quite a... More

My friend is a big Tullamore whisky fan and while in Ireland we decided to travel by train to Tullamore and take in a tour of the distillery. Great decision. The town itself is charming, as well. The whisky tour is much the same as others and offers tasting of their various products. The guide was well informed, funny and... More

I liked this tour mostly because the building was just so cool! The decor was beautiful, and the tasting room was gorgeous! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable as well. They only do the tours every 2-3 hours, so it is good idea to see when they run to work your schedule appropriately. Parking is a little tricky - park... More
