The lake, the sheep, the waterfall are oall very beautiful, peaceful and truly lovely. Unfortunately, must be crowded in summer, as there are now bus parking spots!

Beautiful lake, especially on a sunny day. Also there is a car park right by both Glencar lake and waterfall, with clean bathrooms (and there was an ice cream truck there that day, which was a nice surprise!).

Wonderful way to have a leisurely drive for about an hour when in Sligo. We normally stop at some viewing points and enjoy the tranquil lake and beauty spots. The waterfall is also worth a short walk to view. Lovely on a warm evening.

Perfect day to visit with the glorious sun shining. The calmness of the waters which mirrored the reflection of the mountains and trees. Also went to visit Glencar waterfall which has a slight incline but well wiorth the visit. Picturesque!,

A very picturesque area, plenty of places to walk and things to do. Horse carriage rides, trips on the lake in summer. Fishing and a nearby place to eat.
