We had a lovely ride on this tour boat around Lough Gill while the captain filled us in on the connections to W. B. Yeats. He quoted Yeats' poetry surrounded by the lands that inspired those words.

We got the boat at Parke's Castle. It is €15 for Adults & €10 for children. The tour lasted 1 hour..I love boat trips so this appealed to me. But what really made the trip was the Captain George he was amazing. He recited W.B....More

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing few hours on lough gill. Captain George kept us entertained with very informative details of the local area and recital of yeats poetry along with some soothing music.
