Gorgeous unspoiled sandy beach - my kids(aged 3 and 5) had a ball, even on a breezy February. Would love to visit on a summers day. Only downside was toilets were closed.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been: mountains, beaches, the ocean, everything makes for an unforgettable landscape.

we loved driving around Ireland. The coast in this area was majestically rugged. We had a car so it was easy to traverse the area. Can walk out to the beach. Other places to explore in that region as well... go!!

Stunning views over the sea, especially good on a windy day with the waves coming in from the Atlantic. Good parking but expect it could be busy in the summer.

Wild, free, untamed and stunning barely begin to describe Roses point. BLOWS the cobwebs away , takes your breath with the majestically scenery and makes you feel like a tiny grain of sand. Wild West!!!!

This is a gorgeous place which still remains very unspoilt. There is a car park and toilets and great dunes and walks. There is a golf course, hotel, cafe and a couple of lovely pubs. It is not as busy or congested as Strandhill which also has a fab beach and pubs and the wonderful Shells.
