I had always thought of seeing Rosses point but I had never been able to go there.
But I was always wrong!
This corner of Ireland like many others makes you come back so close to nature that you would never want to leave.
I knew it is always awarded as Blue Beach and now I understand why !!

A short visit but worth it.

A nice scenic drive along will deliver you to the statue of the maiden with outstretched arms to sea. The lifeboat station is located nearby and a great view of the bay. A must see when on route and time to pay tribute to those at sea young and old.

Very Nice Outing
Aug 2021 • Couples
This was a very nice outing. The views of the sea were nice. There were statues of a woman waiting for her sea faring husband and a man on the water pointing to the dangerous rocks. There was also a golf course with wonderful views.

Wild

There is a raw wild feeling to the sea here. Sit on a bench on top of the hill near the Wild Atlantic Way sign and watch the waves

New cafe at tosses point
Aug 2021 • Couples
You must try the fish and bean cafe sited in the yacht club. Fresh food cooked nicely and great service. Just opened in June 21 and good luck to them. Great job

Time to Relax
Aug 2020
Great walks along the shoreline. Good for all ages and types of walker. Grassy area for family games. Stunning views across the Atlantic. People seemed aware of Covid warnings. County markings a good reminder about distancing. Waters seem safe for swimming but I was too cold to be daring.

A Beach that offers you a chance to stop and breath,
Jul 2020
Rosses point beach is unspoiled, you can walk for miles and enjoy amazing views of Lissadell House, Bem bulben, rossespoint lighthouse. The sea is clear and warm and if you are worried about social distancing then this is the beach for you. Public toilets available and are very clean.

Beautiful beach and views
Jul 2020 • Friends
Beautiful beach in Rosses point with a stunning view of Benbulbin. Plenty of accommodation and places to drink and eat along the coast road leading up to the beach itself. Full of life and well worth visiting for a swim, walk etc
