This center is doing tremendously good work in trying to integrate the varied populations in the Waterford area. The Christian Brothers were integral to the education of so many in Ireland and the US. Their missions, amongst others, includes English Literacy, Computer training, and Refugee to Work Programs. We had a wonderful visit, including lunch and a tour by the... More

As an old Christian Brothers boy, I was interested to visit the Edmond Rice Heritage Centre in Waterford. The staff turned on the lights for us, and most... More

This is a rare and unique building and a honour to a great man , Edmond Rice who was responsible for the education of thousands of the youth of Waterford. The builbing has a gem of history and is a most interesting place to go.

This is a nice peaceful place to visit and to give thanks for the great work of the Brothers in Ireland and overseas. We realized the amazing influence of Edmund Rice world wide. The chapel is a real gem with the tomb of the great man.

I was pleasantly surprised ...and excited to discover that Brother Rice had a memorial right here where I was visiting/touring. A very lovely lady heard me asking for directions to... More

As a volunteer for Edmund Rice Summer Camps, I've visited the heritage centre a few times and have yet to be bored. The tour is interactive and suitable for all ages.

This comprehensive outline of an extraordinary man's life was informative and inspiring. Gave me an enhanced appreciation of the harshness of the times and the generosity and goodness of Edmund..
