We were in Waterford on a four night coach trip from uk, and had a free morning, so we took a short walk from our hotel and did the tour. It was very interesting. We went on the web site before hand and saw that the price was about 13 eu, which I thought was quite expensive. However when we... More

We did a detour to travel through Waterford on our journey around Ireland and I am so glad we did. I think our trip to Waterford Crystal was one of the most enjoyable anywhere. Entrance is by guided tour only at 13.50 Euros pp. Our tour guide Sean was excellent and we got to see all the different areas of... More

New respect for an ancient art. Well worth the price of admission. Good deals in the gift shop. Great pastries in the tea shop.

Tour was informative and it was very neat to see the entire process first hand. Great for all ages, just be careful not to touch anything and break these expensive pieces of art!

The tour of Waterford allows you to actually see the workers making the various pieces of crystal and all of the processes are explained in great detail. In the shop afterwards there are many things available for purchase. I personally selected a piece from the Aofie collection. Aofie is exclusively available only at the factory shop and not sold online... More

The tour was great, seeing the incredible amount of manual labor used for each finished item was an eye-opener. The master craftsmen really know their stuff! Unfortunately this was spoilt by the staff in the shop who push you into taking the Tax Free shopping card from them under the guise of giving you the vat back on your purchase.... More

I took my mum to this attraction as a belated Birthday treat and was pleasantly surprised by the very informative tour showing the creative process from blowing the glass through the cutting marking and engraving of the products then to the final items which obviously just happened to be for sale in the shop!! Café was excellent with good coffee... More

The tour is a little pricey for what you get, but quite interesting to see the process and the work that is involved in creating a piece. But, you gotta do it.......it's still worth it!!
