Had no idea Waterford was such an important historical place. Really interesting Viking facts and details on battle tactics. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Waterford. Warning - steep stairs.

Using our OPW heritage pass we visited the tower today and for such a small place it was full of information. Great insight into the past. The guide was lovely and the video on the top floor a great recap. So glad we visited.

Vikings series has awakened an appetite for all things medieval. This tower is a perfect place to study the interior walls and windows and crevasses. the history of Ireland is staving off invaders. This tower is a refuge in the middle of Waterford.

Nearly missed it! Just opposite the end of the harbour on the corner. If your fit walk to the top is worth it. If like me, you are unable to walk up many stairs it's a bit of a waste.

Hi, as mentioned it depends on how your claustrophobic tolerance is. The stairwell is narrow and round, each of the floors are wide open, so no problem there.

Hi, you cannot purchase tickets in advance for Reginald's Tower, you can for the Medieval Museum and the Bishop's Palace. The tour of Reginald's Tower takes about 45 minutes.
