What a wonderfully beautiful and well preserved place this is. The grounds are extensive and beautifully kept. I took our 2 daughters for a ride on the horse-drawn cart which takes the circular road around the park. Our knowledgeable driver pointed out all the different...More

The Arboretum was established by The Irish Government as a tribute to JFK - it is very near to his family homestead - it may no longer have the immediate impact that it had but it is still a magical place well worth exploring. Arrived...More

Loved going here with the family over the years, unfortunately it's gone to the dogs since I was last here in 2007 signage broke and short staffed shop is a total rip off. Lost its appeal along time ago won't be returning.

I though the castle was cool but I didn't really enjoy it that much as there was no tour and it was very basic due to the original timber floors missing in upper floors however staff were very nice

This arboretum, initially endowed by Irish-Americans and the Irish Government, was founded as a living memorial to J.F. Kennedy in the late sixties. It is well worth a visit. Understandably near the visitor centre are many U.S. State trees from Oregon to New Hampshire but...More

Our Trafalgar tour's visit here simply was too brief and superficial. An arboretum staffer boarded our coach and we took a 20-minute drive through part of the arboretum with the staffer providing commentary. Personally, I didn't take much interest in which tree was planted by...More
