A real gem of a course. The address is a bit misleading, its actually in Shillelagh. There are some stunning specimens of trees around the course, and there is every chance that you will get some close-up views. The scenery surround the course is spectacular too.

I've golfed here in 2013 and the course is very nice. There is a lot of history in this area and on the course. The old garden walls still are there from which the Earl Fitzwilliam governed this estate throughout the entire 19th century. My family were irish tenant farmers of his, and for an English landlord, he was always... More

Played twice around Easter. Great design and a real test of golf. You have to drive the ball into the right place to be able to approach the green. Little rough helps the golf ball quota but great fun

Coolattin estate near by is full of history. It would have been the manor house of the Earl Fitzwilliam, who was the English land lord of the 1800s. He paid passage for 6000 tenants during the famine years, to north America. Some renovation has been done. The golf course is very good too place there only once though, but still... More

It was my first time to play thus course and I must say it was absolutely lovely. Very tricky greens if you don't know where your going you would get caught out. A good bit of walking involved on this course from some greens to tee boxes but we'll worth a visit.

Play this golf course in May or June and enjoy the brilliant colours of the beautiful shrubs, and in addition you get a very good golf course.

We have played here before and really enjoyed our round. So it was only natural that it eas on our list when we revisited Ireland. A small and overlooked golf course with very few visitors. Nice for us we came early in the morning and had place to ourselves, more or less. The course is in a very good shape... More

Coolattin Golf Club is located in the heart of the Wicklow hills and is a very pleasant experience, some very interesting golf holes including a short par 3 within the old walled garden of the Estate, This was originally an easy 9 hole course with few hazards, when they expanded to 18 holes, they introduced a few water features, and...
