Have hiked it all but not continuously. There are some very beautiful sections like Glencullen to Crone, Oldbridge to Glendalough and Glendalough to Glenmalure. There are other nice sections too along mountain paths (like the section around Sleamaine) and there are stretches on minor roads...More

We took a wrong turning into this, so glad we did the views are amazing. Though must admit it's a very long road through the mountains on winding roads but worth it...........

Have never been to this part of Ireland and was amazed how different it is to the west coast but offering such an amazing contrast. Some parts like the Scottish Highlands some like Bavaria!

We started walking the Wicklow Way from Marlay park to Enniskerry. A long walk, 25k and challenging, 2 climbs up to 1600ft but worth it for the great views of Dublin and the bay. Mostly the Wicklow Way is well signposted, but we did have...More

We walked around the lake and up the hill on the grey trail. We had wonderful weather but this walk (5 km) would be great in any weather. Well worth going there, beautiful countryside and views. Reminiscent of the Alps.

Our day to travel to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wicklow, Ireland was rainy and gusty. The scenery was not harmed by the rain, however. Winding up and down, around and through the forests and meadows was quite a treat.

Wexford and the surrounding area and parkland is lovely. It is less crowded than other very pretty areas in the south and west of Ireland. Hilly, rocky, take a walking stick if you use one. I left mine in the car and... More

Yes, we did the whole walk last year, both in our fifties. It's well marked, no need for a guide. Wicklow waybaggage worked like clock work for us so only had to carry a day bag. With 3 days, you would do a half of the way... More
