Beautiful beach

What a beautiful beach. Golden sands and plenty of warm sunshine when we visited. Easy parking, and a great walk along the beach. A definite must visit!

We have visited Brittas Bay for many years and thankfully, it has not changed much. The sand is really soft and on a warm day, it can be packed and as good as any holiday abroad! There is a public car-park available, tho' you are advised to travel early in the morning. It can get congested with traffic. Remember to... More

Beautiful beach, shame that Wicklow County Council have locked the public car parks, so preventing cars parking safely there. Cars parked randomly on the entrances to both car parks instead. I thought these were public beaches for Public enjoyment.

Brittas Bay is stunning. Almost snow white sand, and a flawless view out to the Irish Sea. Anytime you feel like a visit to the beach, you can't go wrong with Brittas. It's a bit of a trek, but honestly, it's worth it.

Long open beach with dunes alongside. Great to walk the dog. Can't understand why teh council don't reduce or waive the 4 Euro parking fee in winter months to encorage people to use the facility - we were one of only 2 cars in the huge car park with lots parked on the yellow lines outside.

We love Brittas bay! It is amazing beach. White sand and dunes. You have to pay for parking in South and North car parks.

Only 1 hr from Dublin, this is one of the Best beaches in the whole of Ireland, bar none. A real family beach, great for swimming, pay attention to Lifeguards flags as there can be an undercurrent and drag. Bring plenty of sun cream and drinking water as shops are quite a distance away. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.

I love sandy beeches and not rocky ones. We loved this beech as it was sandy and in Ireland surprisingly. The sunset was lovely and just walking on the sand was so relaxing. Very tranquil there were not much people and lovely beech. It's definitely a hidden gem beech. Will definitely return. Lovely beech.
